Frank Gallinelli

Frank Gallinelli has served as Adjunct Assistant Professor in Columbia GSAPP’s Master of Science in Real Estate Development program since 2003, where he teaches real estate investment analysis. Gallinelli graduated from of Yale University with a B.A. is Psychology, and from Southern Connecticut State University with a M.S. in education. He left a teaching career after nine years to enter the real estate field, where he has been involved for more than forty years, first in residential, then commercial, and finally in personal investing. In 1981 he founded RealData, Inc., a software company he continues to own and operate and which provides financial analysis models for investors and developers worldwide.

He has written four books on real estate investing, the earliest of which, What Every Real Estate Investor Needs to Know About Cash Flow…, (McGraw-Hill), is now in its third edition and has remained among the top-selling real estate books on Amazon since 2004. He has also self-published Mastering Real Estate Investment in both print and digital formats, and 10 Commandments for Real Estate Investors, his first digital-only book.

Gallinelli continues to write articles and to produce educational videos for real estate investors. His most recent project is an online video course, “Real Estate Investment Analysis.” Gallinelli served on the Fairfield, Connecticut Representative Town Meeting as a member and moderator in the 1990s. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Bridgeport Symphony.
