Maria Garces Marques

Maria Garces Marques is an Associate at Columbia GSAPP. She studied Architecture at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica in Santiago, and after graduation dedicated herself to work developing several housing projects and international contests.

After almost four years of professional work, she pursued her Master’s degree in Urban Planning at Columbia GSAPP. During her time in Urban Planning, she worked as the Editor-in-Chief of URBAN Magazine, a student-led bi-yearly publication about urban planning related issues. She has been working for the last year as a Researcher with Professor Malo Hutson in Columbia’s Urban Community and Health Equity Lab.
