Toshihiro Oki

Toshihiro Oki is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia GSAPP and principal of Toshihiro Oki architect p.c. based in New York. Oki has taught architecture design studios at Columbia GSAPP and Princeton University Graduate School of Architecture.

Winner of the Architectural League of NY Folly 2013 at Socrates Sculpture Park, he focuses on creating spatial atmospheres of experience. Recent projects include a series of contemporary art spaces, fashion stores and residences in urban and rural settings.

He established his office after working for several years at SANAA to build the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion in Ohio and New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York. He has been the local licensed architect for SANAA and Tadao Ando Associates for a number of their projects in the US.
