Solar Energies as the Most Environmentally Friendly Source of Energy for Mankind

Solar Energies are abundant and they can certainly provide for the demands of the whole planet for energy. While there have been past developments on the use of Solar Energies it has never been more advanced than what we have right now due to the problems on energy crisis and global warming. Recent developments have harnessed the Solar Energies as the potential source of renewable energy and the best alternative to solve the issues on the high cost of fuel. This will also lessen the dependency on the expensive imported fuel that has been the bane of most governments.

Harnessing energy from the renewable sources is not yet a proven technology since the sun does not shine at night and when the weather condition prevents the availability of sufficient sunlight to provide for the energy needs. As a result many researches are now being undergone in order to solve the storage problems not only concerning the solar energy but also the wind energy. The solar cells are used to convert the sunlight into electricity. The solar cells are often called the photovoltaic cells which are designed as the collector of the sunlight with the use of lens. This is not a very ideal situation since the lens needs to be concentrated to the sunniest locations in order to achieve the best results. The low efficiency of the solar cells is one of the reasons why its commerciality has not achieved the purpose for which it was built for.

With the growing trend for more environmentally friendly products and services, science may come up with a breakthrough technology that will make the solar cells more cost efficient and productive. With all the technological advances in this generation, it might not be long before they reach the best means to harness the unlimited energy from the sun. Once the renewable sources of energy are used, there would be no more fear of greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprints that have had a negative affect not only on the environment but on human and animal life. At the moment, this is the primary concern since we have realized the danger that the burning of fossil fuel have done to our planet.
