Columbia offers lifetime e-mail forwarding through your
UNI@columbia.edu and also offers a web based e-mail option through YOURNAME@caa.columbia.edu. 
 
Student e-mail addresses remain active for three months after graduation, but thereafter alumni must sign up for lifetime forwarding.

The Arts Initiative at Columbia University aims to make the arts part of every Columbia student’s educational experience and to promote a life-long involvement in the arts.
 
New graduates receive a complimentary year membership in the Columbia Alumni Arts League (CAAL) for special benefits and discounts at New York’s finest cultural institutions. Other alumni can join with a tax-deductible contribution of only $25 or more to the Arts Initiative at Columbia University.
 
 
 
Membership at the Dodge Physical Fitness Center gives alumni and their families access to Columbia’s pool, indoor track, squash courts, weight room and other facilities.

Alumni may apply for a University Alumni Identification Card that grants renewable reading privileges. To borrow books alumni may obtain borrowing privileges for a monthly fee.
 
To obtain your University “Alumni Library Card”, you must visit the Library Information Office - IN PERSON - in room 201 in the Butler Library. Alumni must present a valid government issued photo ID card in order to obtain an alumni card.

The Welcome Center is located within the Columbia Alumni Center. It is designed specifically for alumni use and includes a lounge, library, seminar room, and courtesy office. It provides an ideal place to meet with fellow Columbians.
 
The Columbia Alumni Center also houses the University’s Office of Alumni and Development and the Columbia College Office of Alumni Affairs and Development, including Columbia magazine and Columbia College Today.

The Columbia University Club of New York, located at 15 West 43rd Street in Midtown Manhattan, offers membership to alumni of Columbia University. There are 50 overnight rooms, including two suites and a fully-equipped athletic facility with two international squash courts. There is casual dining in the Bar & Grill and fine dining in the Presidents Room. Members may use the meeting and conference rooms for private events or business meetings. The business center is fully equipped and wireless technology is available throughout the Club.
 
A monthly social activities calendar includes networking opportunities, lectures and discussions, inter-club events, and wine and liquor tastings.

The Faculty House offers dining, catering, and conference facilities. Weekdays during the academic year, the DeWitt Clinton Dining Room, Garden Café, and W117th Lounge are open for lunch and dinner. The event rooms are available for University events and private affairs every day, year-round.
 
All members of the University community are welcome to dine at Faculty House. Alumni are eligible for a house account at a reduced annual membership of $35, which offers a 10% discount on all charges. Contact: (212) 854 1200. 
 
 
 
Columbia Magazine
 
 
Columbia magazine is published by the Office of University Development and Alumni Relations and is the only University publication sent to all Columbia alumni, both in the U.S. and around the world.
 
Columbia University Alumni E-newsletter
The University sends out an e-newsletter on the last Wednesday of every month to all alumni from all schools.
 
 
 
GSAPP Alumni Scholarship Fund Newsletter
The Newsletter is sent out to all GSAPP alumni and friends once a year, to recognize our generous donors who contribute to the GSAPP Alumni Scholarship Fund, as well as other giving opportunities at the School. The Newsletter profiles those students – from across all 6 degree programs – who are the recipients of the GSAPP Alumni Scholarship Fund and includes examples of their work and information about their time at the School.

Abstract
Abstract presents GSAPP as an open-ended laboratory for research and experimentation through a catalogue of exceptional student work, faculty texts, and images of the events that characterize the atmosphere of the School. It has an introductory text by Dean Mark Wigley and includes work conducted by each of the School’s programs: Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, Historic Preservation, and Real Estate Development.
 
Abstract is sent to all graduating students in the fall, post-graduation. Please make sure to update your contact information with the School to ensure you receive Abstract. For other alumni, past issues and current issues are available for purchase at Amazon.com.
 
Program Publications
Each degree program produces various materials and publications each year. To receive these materials, please contact the specific program.
 
E-Newsletter
An email newsletter is sent to alumni throughout the year, and includes information about GSAPP alumni events, alumni news, program news, and career information.
