UNIVERSITY COMMENCEMENT REGISTRATION

If you are eligible to graduate and plan to participate in the University Commencement Ceremony on May 21st, please click here to register to participate in the ceremony and request guest tickets no later than April 18, 2014. Each graduating student will be able to register for up to three (3) guest tickets. (Graduating students do not need a ticket for themselves.)  University and GSAPP Commencement tickets will be distributed from the Dean's Office (402 Avery Hall) in May 2014; you will be notified by email when they are ready to be picked up.

SECOND PROFESSIONAL DEGREE (AAD, UD) COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

  • This ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of graduating students receiving Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design and Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design degrees from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation in 2014. Students come forward to receive their diplomas from the Dean. Recipients of prizes are also announced.

  • Time: 12:45 p.m. (Graduates are asked to assemble at St. Paul's Chapel at 12:30 p.m. or immediately after University Commencement ceremony and take assigned seats in front of Chapel)
  • Location: St. Paul's Chapel, Morningside Campus
  • Reception: 2nd Professional Degree Luncheon in courtyard between Avery and Fayerweather at 2:00 p.m. immediately following the ceremony
  • Tickets: Required (to be distributed by the GSAPP Dean’s Office in early May)
  • Academic Regalia: Required 
  • Diplomas: To be distributed during ceremony

First Professional Degree Commencement Ceremony (M.Arch., UP, HP, CCCP)

  • This ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of graduating students receiving Master of Architecture, Master of Science in Urban Planning, Master of Science in Historic Preservation, and Master of Science in Critical, Curatorial, and Conceptual Practices degrees from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation in 2014. Students come forward to receive their diplomas from the Dean. Recipients of prizes are also announced.

  • Reception: 1st Professional Degree Luncheon in courtyard between Avery and Fayerweather at 12:30 p.m. immediately following the University Commencement ceremony

Real Estate Development Graduation Ceremony

  • This ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of graduating students receiving Master of Science in Real Estate Development degrees from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation in 2014. Students come forward to receive their diplomas from the Dean. Recipients of prizes are also announced.

  • Reception: Luncheon between Avery and Fayerweather at 12:30 p.m., Reception immediately following the ceremony at the Faculty House
