Reserving Equipment

*All reservations must be made at least one business day in advance.
During your time here you will likely need to take advantage of our  AV facilities, whether it is for a laptop and projector for a studio review, a video camera for making a file, or a still camera for taking pictures of a model. In order to do this you need to fill out an AV Equipment Request Form.

You need to fill out the requested information (drop-off and pick-up times and dates, studio professor's name, room you will use the equipment in, etc.) and any specifics you might want in order to reserve the equipment.

ALL AV RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST ONE BUSINESS DAY IN ADVANCE

This ensures equipment availability, tracks equipments usage, and ensures staff coverage of the office. If you are having a review in one of the auditoriums you should also submit an AV reservation if you would like an AV staff member to assist in the setup and explain the usage of the equipment.

Please, be considerate and understand the AV request system. We have a limited amount of equipment and if you reserve something you should pick it up within 30 minutes of your reserved time. This is very important as the AV office has multiple demands that often pull them from the office in 203 Fayerweather. Also, please coordinate with your classmates! Talk amongst your studio and figure out who is making the reservation. If you, a classmate and a professor all reserve a laptop/projector bundle for the same review it is difficult to figure out who actually needs something and what equipment will actually be available.

You absolutely need to make a reservation to get equipment. We do not give out equipment to students without reservations, no exceptions. If your professor has scheduled a last minute review that requires AV equipment and a reservation was not made, the professor must pick up the equipment in person. Students sent to pick up equipment on his/her behalf will be turned away.
