Demographics – Split by section (South, Central, North).  Population: race, age, sex, household size, place of birth, place of work.  Housing Units: number (total/owned/rented), tenure, value, median rent. Public Transportation: usage. Economics: income.  A word document explains the data sample.
III. Design Charrette – Significance statements and design proposals for the Bronx Terminal Market, Sherman Creek, Marble Hill, Mott Haven, Seaman Drake Arch and East Harlem.

IX. Legislative & Community Tools – Lists legislative and non-legislative tools that aid Preservation.  Includes a general discussion of zoning, easements and eminent domain. Specific reference is made to NYC Zoning, air rights, development rights, 197-A plans and the NYC Landmarks Law.  Federal preservation (National Register), transportation and environmental laws are discussed as is state environmental law.  Community tools include historic markers, tours, awards and adaptive reuse.
X. Research Methodology – Includes significance criteria and sample survey instruments used to determine the significance of objects and landscapes in the study area.
