Conservation – Lists specific damage prevention and recommended repairs for ferrous metals, brick, wood and concrete.  Provides a general discussion of biological growth and graffiti.  A glossary and references are included.

II. Demographics – Split by section (South, Central, North).  Population: race, age, sex, household size, place of birth, place of work.  Housing Units: number (total/owned/rented), tenure, value, median rent. Public Transportation: usage. Economics: income.  A word document explains the data sample.
III. Design Charrette – Significance statements and design proposals for the Bronx Terminal Market, Sherman Creek, Marble Hill, Mott Haven, Seaman Drake Arch and East Harlem.
IV. Ecology – Notes on brownfields and pollution.
V. Educational Resources – Explains educational programs offered by the New York Historical Society, Museum of the City of New York, Brooklyn Historical Society and the Pittsburgh History and Research Foundation.
VI. Existing Landmarks – Listing of existing New York City and National Landmarks in our study area.
VII. Financial Tools – Describes Federal (tax credits), State (transportation related, economic related) and New York City (J-51, 421 – A, Block Grants, Empowerment Zones) and private sector (National Trust, Preservation League of New York) funding sources.
VIII. Glossary – Explains terms that may not be familiar to readers.
IX. Legislative & Community Tools – Lists legislative and non-legislative tools that aid Preservation.  Includes a general discussion of zoning, easements and eminent domain. Specific reference is made to NYC Zoning, air rights, development rights, 197-A plans and the NYC Landmarks Law.  Federal preservation (National Register), transportation and environmental laws are discussed as is state environmental law.  Community tools include historic markers, tours, awards and adaptive reuse.
X. Research Methodology – Includes significance criteria and sample survey instruments used to determine the significance of objects and landscapes in the study area.
XI. Related Initiatives – Synopsis of economic development and urban planning initiatives affecting the study area.
XII. Southern Section, Detailed Recommendations – Provides detail to support recommendations made in the Southern Section of the preservation plan.
