Architecture and Public Health

In recent years, a new field of research has emerged concentrating on the relationship between the built environment and public health. Working with colleagues in the school of dentistry, the school of public health, and the history department, architects and urban designers are taking advantage of the last digital modeling and mapping tools to play a key role in rethinking one of the oldest ambitions for good design.
