Human Rights and Architecture

A new and increasingly urgent field of interdisciplinary research has opened up to investigate the intimate relationship between human rights and the design of the built environment. Linking architecture, urban design, urban planning, politics, ethics, anthropology, sociology, and law, this new field transforms our understanding of the role and responsibility of all of the disciplines at GSAPP.
