Advanced Visualization Research

The school's expertise in experimental digital design is now being expanded to an experimental reconsideration of all forms of visualization of the built environment. Refusing any simple division between representation, design, and construction, a new spectrum of modeling, mapping and imaging systems is being investigated. Each mode of visualization is seen to carry with it a set of unexplored assumptions which either constrain or release untested potentials.
