Recruit at GSAPP: Recruiting at GSAPP

We welcome employers and alumni to come and recruit at GSAPP.

GSAPP offers professional degree programs in Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, Historic Preservation, and Real Estate Development. While most graduates leave the school to practice in these fields, many also pursue careers in related areas such as multimedia design, 3D animation, marketing and consulting.

A recruiting visit can include a presentation about your firm and/or interviews with individual students. Recruiting events generally occur in the spring and preferably during the day, although evening visits are possible if there are no conflicting lectures.

1. To schedule a recruiting visit, send email to careers@arch.columbia.edu
and answer the following questions:

When you would like to recruit?
What presentation aids will you need?
How long would you like the interviews to be?
Would you like to offer refreshments at the event?
What types of candidates are you looking for?

2. Your firm sends promotional materials such as posters.

3. We arrange for a room, presentation aids and catering (catering is at firm's expense). We will hang posters, inform students about the recruiting visit, and arrange for a sign-up of interested students. Please indicate how long you would like the recruitment and the individual interviews to be.
