Ph.D Program in Urban Planning Admissions Requirements

The Ph.D. Program in Urban Planning is part of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS). Applications are submitted on-line through the GSAS web site. Applications are due in early January. The exact date will be indicated on the web site. 

An applicant is expected to hold a Master's Degree in Urban Planning or in a related discipline and have excellent academic credentials with a grade average of B+ or better and above-average GRE scores. In addition, an applicant is required to have completed the equivalent of the core courses provided in the master's level curriculum in the Urban Planning Program at GSAPP.
