Certificate in Conservation of Historic Buildings Program Admissions Requirements

Academic Prepartion

Certificate candidates must hold a Masters' Degree in Historic Preservation, Archaeology, Architecture, Architectural History, or allied field; or a five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree, and at least one year of work experience in historic preservation or a related field.

** Personal statements should include or be accompanied by a description of the proposed focus of study in historic preservation.  Student proposals should outline their anticipated course of study, explaining their goals and making the case for its value. Student proposals and specific courses will be approved in consultation with the faculty within their area of interest.
