We are pleased to present the second on-line issue of Precis, the student publication of the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) at Columbia University.
 
    Precis will present
    articles by students, faculty 
    and their guests as well as serve
    as a forum for ideas on architecture
    and urbanism. Given the 
    possibility for more spontaneous
    publishing, Precis intends
    to extend its forum to current 
    events at the school and 
    around the city. As students engage
    each other with their interest and
    impressions of lectures, exhibitions
    and other events at Columbia and
    beyond, we hope that they bring
    some of this discussion to 
    the forum of Precis.
