I see the use of computers in design, as the next logical step in a continually evolving process. I think that they offer valuable qualities that do not exist in conventional techniques, but I believe that they can offer their greatest contributions in conjunction with these techniques. The computer gives the designer a unique ability to explore his idea in alternative ways. It also offers new and innovative ways to formulate a design process. One of the most powerful aspects of CAD modeling is it's the ability to allow designer and client to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the entire entity before construction. Thus allowing for a more comprehensive design interaction.
